Upcoming Autumn events

We are pleased to announce the next two events in our ‘Culture and Banking Standards’ lecture series looking at lessons the banking industry can draw from the culture of other institutions:

  • The culture of a casino or of a profession?
Tuesday 21st October, 8:45-10:15am, Room G, House of Lords, London with Philip Augar
  • The media has already made up its mind about investment banking, blaming it for the contamination of retail banking and for declining standards across the financial services industry. How far is this justified and is there any way that the sector can restore its reputation?

  • The culture for women in financial services industry
Tuesday 4th November, 8:45-10:15am, Room G, House of Lords, London with Helena Morrissey
  • Helena is CEO of Newton Investments and founder of the 30% Club, which is a group of business leaders committed to achieving better gender balance at all levels of organisations.

Previous speakers have included: Sir Richard Lambert; The Most Reverend and Right Honourable Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury; Lord Ian Blair and Lord Gus O’Donnell GCB.
